Once deployed, each one is instantly ready to use, so you can start accepting more crypto coins through the processor you choose.
The automation handles the integration between SellAuth and the processor you connect. You supply your own API credentials, your merchant identifiers, and your SellAuth tokens, and the service is deployed for you. The point is to remove the manual payment handling that would otherwise sit on your plate, while keeping the checkout flow inside the SellAuth environment you already run.

What is included and how delivery works
Each product is a hosted checkout automation. When you purchase NOWPayments Checkout or Cryptomus Checkout, the service is automatically deployed and becomes instantly ready to use. You are not buying a script to install on your own server; you are buying a configured integration that you then point at your own processor credentials.
Both automations sit in the Checkout Automations category. NOWPayments Checkout uses a NOWPayments API key and IPN secret, plus your SellAuth API token and Shop ID. Cryptomus Checkout uses a Cryptomus API key and Merchant ID, plus the same SellAuth API token and Shop ID. In both cases, the API key can be set up to create invoices without withdrawing anything, which is useful if you want to test the integration before handling withdrawals.
Delivery is automatic after purchase. Once the automation is deployed, you complete the setup by entering your credentials in the Checkout settings, as described below.
Before you start
You need the following before you can finish setup:
- An active SellAuth Business Plan, because the manual payment method capability that these automations extend is a Business Plan feature.
- A NOWPayments merchant account, for NOWPayments Checkout.
- A Cryptomus merchant account, for Cryptomus Checkout.
- Your SellAuth API token and Shop ID, available from your SellAuth account.
- For NOWPayments Checkout: a NOWPayments API key and IPN secret.
- For Cryptomus Checkout: a Cryptomus API key and Merchant ID.
If you are testing, you can create a NOWPayments API key that only allows invoice creation and does not withdraw anything. That gives you a safe way to confirm the integration is working before you enable live payment flow.
Setup, step by step
These steps apply to both automations. The only difference is which processor credentials you enter.
- Purchase the automation from our Checkout Automations category. Delivery is automatic, and the service is deployed instantly.
- Sign up for the processor you want to use, if you have not already. NOWPayments and Cryptomus each have their own signup flows; the signup links are listed in the product description on our site.
- Open your Checkout settings in SellAuth. This is where the processor credentials are entered.
- Enter the processor-specific values. For NOWPayments Checkout, enter your NOWPayments API key, your NOWPayments IPN secret, your SellAuth API token, and your SellAuth Shop ID. For Cryptomus Checkout, enter your Cryptomus API key, your Cryptomus Merchant ID, your SellAuth API token, and your SellAuth Shop ID.
- Save the settings and confirm the integration is active in your Checkout view.
- If you are testing, create a NOWPayments API key limited to invoice creation before you switch to a key that can handle withdrawals. For Cryptomus, confirm your merchant is correctly identified by the Merchant ID you entered.
These automations are hosted by a trusted SellAuth Manager/Admin, which is why you only need to add your own credentials once the deployment is complete. You are not installing or maintaining the integration yourself.
Common mistakes that lead to support questions
Most setup problems come from mismatched credentials or from an unfinished processor account. The following are the most common ones.
Entering an API key that belongs to the wrong merchant. Each processor ties an API key to a specific merchant, so a key from a different account will not work. Create the key inside the merchant account you intend to use for checkout.
Using the wrong SellAuth token or Shop ID. Your SellAuth API token and Shop ID must match the shop you are configuring. If those values are off, the automation cannot connect back to your SellAuth checkout.
Skipping the IPN secret for NOWPayments. The IPN secret is part of the NOWPayments integration, and leaving it out or entering it incorrectly will break the callback path that confirms payments.
Trying to use a processor account that is not fully set up. A merchant account that is still being verified, or one that does not have the relevantmerchant details in place, can leave the integration in an incomplete state.
Starting with a withdrawal-enabled key before you have confirmed the integration works. If you want a safer first pass, use a key limited to invoice creation, confirm the checkout flow, and then move to the key you intend to use for live payments.
Troubleshooting
If the checkout does not behave as expected after setup, work through these points.
Confirm each credential is from the correct account. For NOWPayments, check that the API key and IPN secret both belong to the same NOWPayments merchant. For Cryptomus, check that the API key and Merchant ID belong together. A mismatch here is the most common cause of an integration that will not settle.
Verify the SellAuth side. Your SellAuth API token and Shop ID must be current and must belong to the shop you are configuring. If you recently changed shop settings, re-enter those values and save again.
Check the processor account status. If a merchant is still pending verification or is missing key details, the integration may not complete as expected. Finish the processor setup first, then return to the SellAuth checkout settings.
Try a limited test key first. For NOWPayments, an API key that can create invoices but not withdraw gives you a cleaner test path. Once invoices are being created as expected, you can move to the key you plan to use for production.
